OLA Chair by Perin & Topan

UPDATE: We now have the OLA chair available in a 4-leg black chrome base and arm rests, boasting a unique colourway with a grey back in Bericoplast’s typical high quality plastic, and seat upholstered in a bright orange fabric.

Italian designers Gianantonio Perin and Giorgio Topan met while studying Architecture at the University of Venezia. They established their business, Studio A, in 1992, specialising in industrial design and fittings for the office sector and public spaces. In their design work, they avoid styles and short-lived fashion fads, seeking out formal consistency among the functional and aesthetic elements of the product.

One of their most popular designs to date is the OLA chair. Similar to the iconic Segis Storm, the OLA is a classic and versatile piece that fits seamlessly into any environment. Featuring a sturdy plastic shell, the seat curves up slightly on the edges and is perfectly to moulded to suit the human shape. The frame of the chair is manufactured in high quality steel.

The OLA chair is produced by iconic Italian company Bericoplast. Established in 1974 Bericoplast specialise in manufacturing single body seats by moulding plastic materials of the highest quality. They place specific emphasis on producing designs that meet the ideals of function, flexibility, and innovation.

Perin & Topin have produced a number of different versions of this design, suited to many different settings. We have the OLA SL currently available in white. This has the same high quality shell seat but is fixed to a sled base, making it easily stackable for those needing multiple chairs.
