The Blom Chair by Peter Schiavello & Claudio Bellini

Furniture favourite, Schiavello, have produced another cutting-edge piece with the Blom chair.

This range was a collaboration between Peter Schiavello and Italian designer Claudio Bellini. Having worked on previous projects together, including the Schiavello NGV Bench during redevelopment of the National Gallery of Victoria, Schiavello and Bellini forged yet another collaboration in 2012. Bellini is well known for his conceptually driven designs that combine beauty and efficiency, so it is of no surprise that the combination of Bellini and Schiavello produced the uniquely sculptural range that is Blom.

From this range we have the Blom Chair available. A tub-like chair of fluid design creates comfort without sacrificing its unique form and playful nature. Made from rotomoulded, high impact polyethylene, the Blom chair is 100% recyclable. This high-quality plastic makes it extremely durable, and suitable for both indoor and outdoor areas. Manufactured in Schiavello’s Melbourne studio, this piece is proudly Australian made and designed.
